Review banker requests for release of collateral. Use internal databases to track receipt of release requests. Update collateral tracking database to show receipt of release approval. Run reports to monitor paid loans and track the receipt of approved releases. Review paid loans to determine the need for expedited requests and place into appropriate workflow. Sort any incoming mail. Order collateral files for release requests.Compare collateral files to release requests and prepare applicable legal documents. Documents may include state-specific real estate forms, motor vehicle releases, brokerage, and life insurance documents. Release negotiable/safekeeping collateral, ensuring compliance with internal procedures. Update tracking databases. Respond to escalation requests in a timely manner. Maintain department expectations for quality and productivity.


Basic Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Four to five years of experience in loan/lease processing activities, or other relevant experience Preferred Skills/Experience
- Thorough knowledge of legal documents used to support applicable loan/lease processing
- Ability to work with legal to solve complex documentation needs
- Ability to apply critical thinking for all elements of loan documentation construction
- Ability to master the banks documentation software
- Thorough knowledge of closing policies and procedures, funding policies, underwriting requirements, governmental and agency requirements, terminology and automated processing systems
- Thorough knowledge of applicable credit policies and approval processes for assigned product(s)
- Ability to work effectively and accurately in a fast paced, high production, professional environment
- Strong organization skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
